Details of the Canon PowerShot Camera
The Canon Powershot A610 is the successor to the popular A95, which was itself the successor to the A80 as Canon keeps improving their line of Cameras. The "A" in all of these names simply refers to the fact that Canon use AA batteries rather than proprietary Li-ion cells such as are found in many other Canon digicams. The Canon PowerShot A2100 IS has the same fringing festival along the chrome and white parts of the bikes, yet detail is sharp and colors look great on any camera. The PowerShot A2100 IS is a second image is a study in sharpness, which it displays with gusto. This camera is billed as a rugged camera for the adventurer, and it certainly looks and feels the part. The D10 is known as a waterproof camera to 33', shockproof to 4', and freeze proof to 14 Fahrenheit. I believe that the photo quality of the Canon is technically sharper than the Panasonic of the same class is, nevertheless the SX200 IS's photos are noticeable smudgy, so find detail isn't as defined---- regarless of the ISO. Photos taken from the Canon under normal conditions look terrific, better than those from our Nikon D40x dSLR, our shots, colors were well balanced and warm with nice details.
If you want to shoot in low light use the ISO 1600 and High ISO Auto functions. The PowerShotSD1000?s easy Print/Share Button provides direct printing and image transfer without having to navigate through complicated menus. ISO 800 is also available but is almost unusable.
