And this is a pretty good quality print, our test print had very natural colouring, colours were solid and smooth . Definition is good and there’s little to niggle about. Colour print on normal paper, is generally very good . Solid text on colour background is well reproduced, though black text unexpectedly shows quite a bit of bleed into the fibres, giving a spiky appearance to text characters .
Typical prices for the six, plug-in ink cartridges gives a cost per page of 1.5p for an ISO black page and 6.1p for colour. The black cost is excellent , though the cost for colour is only average in this group .
